RED 2 Movie – RED Sequel
Summit Entertainment has greenlit a movie sequel to RED (Retired and Extremely Dangerous). Yep, you can get ready for the movie RED 2! No real surprise here actually: the first film was quite profitable after all, it racked in $164 million for a $58-million budget. So it does make sense for Summit Entertainment to plan a sequel. Screenwriters Erich and Jon Hoeber, who wrote the script of the first film, return to pen the screenplay of RED 2. Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, and John Malkovich will likely return for the sequel (not officially confirmed yet though). I really did enjoy the first opus of RED so I’m glad to hear about this sequel. But Summit must ensure that Helen Mirren and John Malkovich will reprise their roles: they stole the show in the first film, and I definitely want to see them again in the movie RED 2. Do you have any suggestion regarding the plot of RED 2? ... Read more

Riddick 3 Movie with Vin Diesel
Vin Diesel announced that there will be a new movie sequel to the Chronicles of Riddick! The official title of Riddick 3 hasn’t been announced yet, but Vin Diesel did give a few plot details of Riddick 3: “We’re going to find Riddick alone for the first part of the movie, barely alive, surrounded by carnivorous monsters who are trying to eat him. So you’ll see a futuristic Rambo-esque Riddick trying to survive. [...] David Twohy is scripting the next installment of Riddick as we speak, and it’s underway. The story will return to a Pitch Black [sensibility] while servicing the mythology that’s been enhanced in Chronicles of Riddick.” Actor Vin Diesel Sounds like a great premise, but I kind of wonder why Riddick would have left the Necromonger throne… Vin Diesel also released those concept arts on his Facebook page: Those concept-arts of Riddick 3 look promising. David Twohy (who wrote and directed the first two films in the serie... Read more

Robin Hood 2 Movie – Robin Hood Sequel
Director Ridley Scott revealed to the Times Online that the first Robin Hoodmovie is actually an origin story. So we could well expect a movie sequel toRobin Hood if the first opus is a success. Here’s an excerpt of the interview in which Ridley Scott is hinting at a possible Robin Hood 2 movie: “It is the beginnings of how the man becomes known as Robin the Hood. You don’t really get that until the last few minutes. When you realize that ‘Ah, this is who he is’. Let’s say we might presume there’s a sequel. [...] Honestly, I thought why not have the potential for a sequel, particularly if it is a genre that you absolutely love and has never been fully explored? If there were to be a sequel to Robin Hood, you would have a constant enemy throughout, King John, and you would follow his reign of 17 years, and the signing of Magna Carta could be Robin’s final act.” Director Ridley Scott Haven’t seen the first film yet, but I definitely dig... Rocky 7 Sylvester Stallone
Sylvester Stallone must have enjoyed to wear boxing gloves again because he’s planning to make yet another Rocky movie sequel! He’s been talking indeed about making Rocky 7. He would develop this project once he would have wrapped Rambo 5.. Ok legends never die, but come on, do we really need a new Rambo movie? Sylvester Stallone is still a damn strong guy, he would knock me out with just half a blow, that’s sure… But one can’t deny that he’s getting old… Why would we want to watch an old dude on the ring? And that wouldn’t be new: he did it already with Rocky Balboa (aka Rocky 6). Well, here’s what the iconic Sylvester Stallone said: “I know I’ll probably make a fool of myself if I make another Rocky film after turning 60. Even my wife says, ‘Don’t do it. You’re embarrassing the kids’. But Itold her, ‘If I don’t try I’ll be a really unhappy man’. [..] You have to do... Read more

Rush Hour 4 Movie
The third Rush Hour movie was a real box-office success. So Director Brett Ratner and Scriptwriter Jeff Nathanson are tempted to make a fourth Rush Hour film. In the DVD audio commentary for Rush Hour 3, Brett Ratner even jokes that Rush Hour 4 could be released in either 2010 or 2012. In 2007 the film’s producer Arthur Sarkissian said: “I said, ‘We’ve waited six years to do Rush Hour 3 and if we wait another six years, Jackie is going to be way too tired to do this stuff. So Chris is on board – he said he would love to do it. But we have to make sure it stands on its own. And it hinges on how successful ‘Rush Hour 3′ is, for the studio to say we want to make another one. If we do [Rush Hour 4], I’m strongly thinking about setting it in Moscow.”" Producer Arthur Sarkissian We are likely to see motion capture effects in the movie Rush Hour 4: Ratner and Nathanson are indeed studying the technique. Regarding the cast of Rush Hour... Read more
