The Wettest County in the World is an upcoming period crime drama movie directed by John Hillcoat (who brought us The Road) based on the novel of the same name by Matt Bondurant. The screenplay is written by Nick Cave. The cast includes Shia LaBeouf, Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain, Jason Clarke, Guy Pearce, Gary Oldman, and Mia Wasikowska.
